The Supreme Court full court reference planned for tomorrow (Thursday) in honor of retiring Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel has been postponed due to his illness because of the dengue virus.
According to reports, Justice Mazhar Alam has the dengue virus and is receiving treatment in a hospital. Due to his illness, both the SC Bar Association’s dinner in his honor and the apex court’s full-court reference has been postponed.
Due to the Eid holidays, the full court reference was moved up to July 7 (tomorrow).
On July 13, Justice Mazhar Alam will retire.
After the departed judge has recovered, a decision will be made about rescheduling the event.
