Speaking Truth to Oppressed

It was necessary to follow IMF policies to safe Pakistan: Maryam nawaz

PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz declared that if the IMF conditionalities were not accepted, Pakistan would default.

The PML-N vice-president bravely faced a barrage of questions from reporters outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday about the current inflation and another significant increase in the prices of petroleum products.

Maryam stood firm in the face of the taunts and pointed questions, answering them one by one.

She said the ousted PTI government deliberately lowered the petrol price before it was kicked out. “It would take months to come out of the destruction unleashed by Imran Khan,” she added.

“When they learned that their government was about to collapse, they planted landmines for the incoming government,” she said, adding “They laid a trap for the next government.”
