A short history of the Christmas tree!

The Christmas tree is considered an important symbol of celebration during the festive season as churches and homes adorned it with lights, bells, and stars.

The tradition of decorating Christmas trees dated back to the 16th century when religious reformer Martin Luther became fascinated by the starlight shining on pine trees.

Inspired by the sight, he began decorating a tree inside his home.

Even today, churches continued to decorate Christmas trees with enthusiasm. At the Naulakha Church, the head, Dr. Majid Abel, described Christmas as the greatest festival and the source of immense joy.

Christmas trees were decorated with bells, stars, and electric lights to create an attractive and festive appearance.

Christmas is a Christian festival celebrating the birth of Jesus. December 25 has become widely accepted as the date of the celebration of Jesus’ birth.
