How much Babar, Shaheen and Rizwan will earn under new PCB deal? The much-awaited central contracts were announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday, and Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan received massive 202% raises in their monthly salaries.

“PCB has successfully negotiated a three-year central contact deal with its senior players that will run from July 1 2023 to June 30, 2026, in which 25 cricketers will be offered a deal,” the board said in a statement.

The agreement divides the players into four groups, with Babar, Rizwan, and Afridi serving as the captains and playing in the top division.

How much Babar, Shaheen and Rizwan will earn under new PCB deal?

The trio, who were included in category A, will receive Rs. 4.5 million.

Imad Wasim and Abdullah Shafique are in Category C and will be paid Rs1.5 million, while Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan are in Category B.

The following players will receive a monthly salary of Rs750,000: Fahim Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Ihsanullah, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Saim Ayub, Agha Salman, Sarfaraz Ahmad, Saud Shakeel, Shahnawaz Dahani, Shan Masood, Usama Mir, and Zaman Khan.

According to the PCB, player’s match fees for Tests, one-day internationals, and Twenty20 games will all increase by 50%, 25%, and 12.5%, respectively.

Additionally, players are free to play in two foreign leagues each season while the three-year contract’s financial model is locked in and player performance evaluations are scheduled every 12 months.
