Rain

It doesn’t appear that it will rain again today in Karachi, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

According to PMD, this means there are no longer any prospects of rain in the city. But don’t worry, the weather in the city will remain pleasant.

According to PMD’s weather forecast, the city will remain cloudy for the next 24 hours.

The Met Department predicted that the temperature would drop to 12-14 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

According to PMD, the lowest temperature in Karachi was 15 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, with a humidity level of 71 percent in the atmosphere.

Earlier today (Tuesday) afternoon, the Met Department predicted further intermittent showers in the metropolis as the intensity of cold weather intensified in the megacity following light rainfall overnight.

Karachi’s weather has been more extreme since the city was greeted with winter showers on Monday morning. The weather in Karachi smashed a 13-year record yesterday morning, with the coldest winter dawn in the megacity, thanks to persistent rains that began early yesterday morning. The temperature is also expected to drop below 10 degrees Celsius at night, according to the weather service.

The Met Office predicted chilly and dry weather for the next 24 hours in most regions of the country on Monday. More rain is forecast in Sindh, Makran, Kashmir, and the surrounding territories, according to the report. During the night/morning hours, severe fog is expected across upper Sindh and the plains of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the report.

The wet spell in most sections of Sindh and northern provinces, according to PMD Director Sardar Sarfaraz, will only last until Tuesday. He predicted that the temperature in the city would drop to 12-13 degrees Celsius. However, because the Siberian winds have been intercepted by the western winds, Karachi will not experience an intense cold spell.

Beginning in early January, Pakistan will see severe rains.

According to the PMD director, Pakistan will see significant rain beginning in January 2022 as rain and snowfall-producing storms continue to enter the nation.

“By the fourth or fifth day of January 2022, we expect a thick cover of fog to be lifted,” he stated.

Furthermore, another cold wave will hit Balochistan on December 31 or January 1, 2022, with only light rain falling in Lahore if it rains.
