Dietary worries: England team hires personal chef for Pakistan tour

For the next Pakistan trip, which includes three Test matches in December, the Ben Stokes-led England squad has engaged a team chef.

According to sources, the limited-overs England team, who toures Pakistan for seven T20 Internationals before to the T20 World Cup, a personal team chef has been engaged.

The players and support staff on the limited-overs side reportedly grumbled about the poor quality of the dinner.

According to sources, Omar Meziane will be the team chef for England, having previously performed a similar function for the England men’s football team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2020.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is hiring a chef just for this trip abroad, which is the first time they have done so.
