Footballs exports witness 62pc increase in first 4 months of FY23

When compared to the commodity’s exports during the same period last year, the exports of footballs during the first four months of the fiscal year 2022–23 climbed by 62.22 percent.

Footballs were exported for a total of US$81,351,000 between July 22 and October 22 as opposed to US$50,148,000 during the same time last year.

The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics reported that exports of sporting goods increased by 32.31 percent to US$ 139,185,000 over US$ 105,199,000 during the same period last year, totaling US$ 139,185,000.

In the meantime, other exports also increased by 8.54 percent, reaching US$ 33,102,000 during the current fiscal year as opposed to US$ 30,499,000 during the same period last year.

Comparing the exports of gloves during the reviewed period to those during the same period last year, they increased by 0.73 percent, totaling US$24,731,000 in the current fiscal year.
