Shadab joins Afridi as Pakistan’s highest wicket taker in T20I

After collecting two wickets in the T20 World Cup encounter against Bangladesh on Sunday at the Adelaide Oval, Shadab joined Afridi as Pakistan’s joint-highest wicket-taker in T20 Internationals. While Afridi took 98 appearances to attain the same milestone, Shadab has 97 wickets in 82 games.

Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal are third and fourth on the list, respectively, with 85 wickets each. Meanwhile, Haris Rauf, who has taken 70 victims, is in fifth place.

It should be remembered that during the game, Bangladesh gave Pakistan a 128-run goal. Shaheen Afridi, a pacer, has been excellent with the ball lately, taking 4-22 in four overs.

Najmul Hossain Shanto, who started the game, was Bangladesh’s leading scorer with 54 runs in 48 balls.
