Nadia Khan’s historic victory in Women’s International Football

Nadia Khan became the first Pakistani to score 4 goals in a women’s international football match on Tuesday as Pakistan beat Maldives 7-0 in the SAFF Women’s Cup. Nadia Khan scored four goals for the Greens and became the first Pakistani to score four goals in a women’s international match.

The UK-based Pakistani player has outplayed everyone with her brilliant control and super skills by scoring four goals in a row. She scored in the 53rd, 78th and 84th minutes to complete her hat trick, then scored the ball again in the 89th minute to score her 4th goal.

She joined Hajra Khan and Malika-e-Noor in the list of most international career goals by a Pakistani player.

After an agonizing wait of eight long years, the Pakistan women’s team finally celebrated their first win in international football as the green shirts beat the Maldives 7-0 in their SAFF Women’s Championship 2022 tie on Tuesday.

Nadia Khan inspired the green shirts with her outstanding performance by scoring four goals, setting a record for most goals by a Pakistani footballer in a single match.

Rameen Fareed, meanwhile, scored Pakistan’s first international goal in eight years when she scored the opening goal of the game. Meanwhile, Khadija Kazmi and Anmol each scored a goal.

Pakistan’s sensational victory over the Maldives ended their SAFF Women’s Championship season on a high note, despite being eliminated from the competition after initial defeats. Previously, Pakistan lost to India and Bangladesh in the first two matches of the event.

It is worth noting that the SAFF Women’s Championship 2022 is the first tournament Pakistan has participated in after FIFA lifted the ban at the Pakistani Football Association (PFF) on June 29
