The young Pakistani Naseem Shah wowed cricket fans around the world with his T20I debut performance in the pivotal Asia Cup Asia Cup 2022 encounter against India on Sunday in Dubai.

KL Rahul’s golden duck was the 19-year-first old’s wicket in an international T20 encounter. Shah was praised despite Pakistan losing because he finished with a 2 for 27 total.

Shah dismissed Rahul with the first ball, giving Pakistan a good start in their defence of 147. He later returned, outran him, and uprooted Suryakumar Yadav’s stump to dismiss him for 18.

The best part of Shah’s bowling performance, though, was his will to complete the over despite agonising cramps.

Shah’s tenacity on the field garnered him the admiration of all cricket fans.

Shah was in discomfort when he finished the 18th over of India’s innings and was unable to even run in properly. He finished his stint despite the cramps and anguish.

Even though Ravindra Jadeja hit his balls for four and six in his final over, Twitter users praised the youngster for his perseverance.
