PAK vs IND: Fakhar Zaman’s sportsmanship wins Fan’s hearts
In an intense Asia CupAsia Cup 2022 match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, Pakistani batsman Fakhar Zaman earned the hearts of the crowd as he left after nicking the ball to the wicketkeeper from the delivery of Avesh Khan without any protest from the Indian team.
Pakistan was defeated by India by five wickets with two balls remaining. After winning the toss and choosing to bowl first, Indian captain Rohit Sharma held Pakistan to 147 runs after 20 overs.
India had five wickets in hand going into the last over of the game and successfully surpassed the goal.
When Avesh Khan was brought in to deliver the final over of the Powerplay, Pakistan was having trouble scoring runs in the first six overs.

When Fakhar nicked one to the wicketkeeper off the penultimate delivery of the over, Mohammad Rizwan, who was on nine from 17 balls at that point, had shifted the tempo once more.
Little to no protest was made by the Indian players, but when Fakhar tried to leave, the umpire raised his fingers. Fakhar was expelled for ten.
