Dubai launches food delivery robots. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is collaborating with the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) and Talabat, a food delivery service, to introduce “Talabots,” or food delivery robots. They will initially be tested in the Cedre Villas technological park in Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO).
Three of the robots will be put into service, moving up to three kilometres (km) from the Cedre Shopping Center to assist residents of the gated enclave. In less than 15 minutes, the robots will be able to deliver food.

During the World Government Summit 2023, UAE’s Vice-President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved the design of new air taxi stations in Dubai.
He tweeted that air taxis will begin operating in Dubai within the next 3 years, making it the first city in the world to have a fully built network of vertiports, vertical takeoff, and landing hubs.
