PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat has slammed federal minister Fawad Chaudhary maintaining that Chaudhary lacks the credibility to criticize the current PTI leadership.
Sher Afzal Marwat recalled an incident when Fawad Chaudhary, upon seeing the police outside the Islamabad High Court, fled in panic, comparing his hasty retreat to that of a scared elephant.
“I witnessed Fawad Chaudhary running like an elephant after seeing police outside the Islamabad High Court.”
Marwat said that such behavior brought disgrace to the party.
Addressing Chaudhary’s remarks about the present PTI leadership being a “failure,” Marwat retorted that, despite any perceived shortcomings, the current leaders have steadfastly supported Imran Khan through challenging times, unlike Chaudhary who chose to run away.

Earlier, Chaudhary had lambasted the PTI leadership for their alleged lack of political strategy, claiming it was causing widespread suffering and reducing any hope for the release of the party’s incarcerated founder, Imran Khan.
He proposed that more seasoned politicians like Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Pervaiz Elahi, and Asad Qaiser should take the reins of the party, urging the current leaders to refrain from making what he termed “foolish statements.”

After Fawad’s criticism, the PTI core committee unanimously passed a resolution stating that those who left the party during tough times would not be welcomed back.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan announced plans to seek the imprisoned founder’s endorsement of the core committee’s recommendations.
