The formation of her cabinet is underway, with plans to do so in two phases.

According to reports, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has engaged in thorough consultations with its allies to finalize the composition of the provincial cabinet.

The first phase of cabinet appointments will see the inclusion of 16 members, comprising 13 from the PML-N, two from the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), and one from the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).

Among the anticipated members of the initial cabinet phase are prominent figures such as Begum Zakia Shahnawaz, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Khawaja Salman Rafique, and Khawaja Imran Nazir. Other expected appointees include Bilal Yasin, Mujtaba Shujarur Rehman, Khizar Hussain Mazari, and Manshaullah Butt. Also likely to feature are Ashiq Kirmani, Naeem Khan Bhabha, Uzma Bukhari, Faisal Ayub, Sher Ali Gorchani, Ahmed Khan Leghari, Raheela Khadim Hussain, and Sibtain Bukhari.

In the second phase of cabinet formation, additional members will be brought in, including Malik Asif, Akhtar Bosal, Power zaman, Fida Hussain, and Malik Tanveer.

Aslam Malik, Asad Khokhar, Farrukh Javed, and Salman Naeem are also slated for inclusion.

Furthermore, the cabinet is set to feature Chaudhry Shaffay Hussain from the PML-Q and Ghazanfar Cheena from the IPP, signifying a collaborative approach in the governance of Punjab under Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s leadership.
