Following a telephonic exchange with Zardari and Bilawal, Shehbaz Sharif conveyed gratitude on behalf of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif for the solidarity extended by the PPP.

Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif, the President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), had declared that Nawaz Sharif will be the party’s nominee for prime minister should they secure a simple majority in parliament.
He indicated that if the PML-N falls short of a simple majority, the decision for the premiership candidate would be made through consultations within the party ranks.
