Jemima Goldsmith deletes social media post supporting PTI candidates.
Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of imprisoned ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan, and her sons, Kasim Khan and Suleman Khan, have thrown their support behind Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) candidates just one day before the nation’s crucial general elections slated for February 8th.
Kasim Khan, son of Imran Khan, took to social media urging Pakistanis to exercise their voting rights in favor of PTI. In a tweet, he emphasized the significance of the upcoming election and encouraged citizens to share their support for PTI using the hashtag #votePTI.
This tweet gained significant traction after being retweeted by Jemima to her vast audience.

Both Kasim and Suleman Khan shared images on social media platforms featuring themselves proudly displaying PTI’s flag, endorsing the party’s candidates for the impending elections.
Tomorrow’s a huge day for Pakistan. Your vote is important. As soon as you’re able to, please post a photo or video saying “I voted PTI” with a hashtag #votePTI to show your support!

Jemima also echoed her sons’ sentiments by sharing a similar image on her timeline with a caption signaling the significance of the elections.
However, it’s noteworthy that the images shared by Jemima, Kasim, and Suleman exclusively featured PTI flags, as the party faced setbacks in utilizing its iconic “bat” symbol.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had revoked PTI’s right to use the bat symbol due to the party’s failure to comply with legal requirements regarding intra-party elections. Consequently, many PTI candidates are now contesting as independents under various election symbols.
Jemima had previously denounced the presence of a fake social media account in her son’s name, purportedly supporting PTI’s election campaign.
Despite her initial denial of her sons’ presence on X (formerly Twitter), it has been confirmed that Kasim Khan indeed operates a genuine account on the platform.
Despite her active involvement in promoting PTI through her sons’ support, Jemima has consistently expressed her desire to distance herself from political matters.
As Jemima Goldsmith deletes social media post supporting PTI candidates, she has previously stated her preference for keeping politics out of her life, emphasizing her avoidance of political discussions and engagements to steer clear of potential conflicts.
