FIA summons Aleema Khan for ‘inciting violence’.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has called upon Aleema Khan, the sister of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, to appear before the FIA Cybercrime Wing about an inquiry into accusations of inciting violence and promoting hatred within the country.
The notice, issued by the Cybercrime Wing, mandates Aleema Khan’s presence before the investigation team on February 3 at 11 am to provide a thorough explanation.
The notice explicitly outlines that failure to comply with the summons will lead the investigation authority to consider that Aleema Khan has no defense to present in the matter.

This summons follows a separate incident where an accountability court sentenced Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, and his wife Bushra Bibi to 14 years in jail.
The verdict in the Toshakhana case comes after Imran Khan’s months-long detention at Adiala Jail.
The FIA’s move to investigate Aleema Khan reflects an ongoing effort to address issues related to the alleged incitement of violence and promotion of hatred within the country.
As FIA summons Aleema Khan for ‘inciting violence’, the summons signals the gravity of the accusations and the investigative body’s commitment to scrutinizing such matters thoroughly.
