Maryam Nawaz lashes out at Faiz Hameed once again. Increasing his rant against members of the security establishment, Maryam Nawaz, who is furious with ousted premier Imran Khan, accused them of aiding the PTI leader.
In a recent interview with a local news outlet, PML-newly N’s appointed Senior Vice-President and Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz claimed former intelligence chief Lt. Gen. (retd.) Faiz Hameed still had influence in the establishment and charged his remnants with supporting Imran Khan, who has been the target of numerous legal proceedings since losing the no-confidence vote that ousted him from office last year.
The outspoken leader said there were some members, who she refrained from naming, still aiding the PTI chief. She said these people have common interests which is binding them together.
Maryam Nawaz lashes out at Faiz Hameed once again. Firing a fresh salvo at former Prime Minister, Maryam raised questions on the PTI chief’s casual attitude towards the court for the several cases against him. She called it for the first time that a politician was flouting the court’s orders despite reminders.
She accused Imran of still being involved in deals. Taking a jab at Imran, she asked how he could fly to Rawalpindi for his party’s rally while injured yet not appear in court.
Maryam stated that his uncle, the current Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, had not come to the office with the assistance of Gen (retd) Bajwa, but rather due to Khan’s incompetence.
Last month, Maryam Sharif’s father, Nawaz Sharif, blamed the country’s chaotic predicament on former army head Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa and former spymaster Gen Faiz Hamid.
