12007 girls & 1004 boys have been sexually abused in Pakistan so far”, suggests reports
Reports suggest that “more that 12 people per day get abused.” Not to forget that this estimation comes from only registered cases.
Pakistan is a third world with millions of social, economical, religious & political issues pouring out with every passing second. The country has particularly seen expeditious rise in the abusive cases all over.
Like every year, the reported cases are nothing but shocking. Around 1207 girls g 1004 boys have been abused this year. The report collects the stats till the mid of year & these are the recorded cases. There’s no documentation, nor is there any stats expectations about the unofficial & unheard cases.
This figure of abuses refer to around 12 girls/boys being abused every day so far which is beyond shocking. Apart from that, the reported cases also suggest 803 abductions & 243 rape cases. There’s also 298 Sodomy cases being reported with 41 gang rape.
There’s 87 sodomy gang-rape cases being reported so far in the state of Pakistan. Talking about the child abuse, girls of age 13 & boys of age around 17 were killed after being sexually abused.

The stats send shivers down one’s spine. Pakistan is a country which has seen women & men coming out to protest a gang rape of 8 year old girl child to chanting out loud against imbalanced women issues. The country does speak out loud but the question is how long & how far does the judiciary play the part. It’s a country with world’s one of the prominent countries to have reported the most rape & abuse cases.
where does our law stand? why are we still seeing these cases & that too in huge figures? How much does our education system play the part? The questions remain intact but justifying these horrifying stats by comparing it with other countries does not put us on good side of the history.
Isn’t it a high time to think things over considering 12 children are abused every single day in your country? That sure does a lot of question marks.
