“I want the Muslim-majority areas to be merged to form a separate country.” Iqbal’s dream, seen more or less a that the Muslimcentury ago today, was interpreted in such a way majority areas were cut off and made into a small separate country, and thus the Hindus got the chance who had been subjugated for centuries were allowed to rule over the Muslims. Based on this distribution of Muslim territories, a certain class of scholars opposed this division of the subcontinent and called it bad for life. Every time in the last 75 years, mountains of oppression have been broken on the Muslims living in India.
If it had not been for haste, their words would have been understood, or a certain group of scholars would have expressed their views in such a way that the matter would have reached the heart. And if not, at least because of their relationship with Allah, the Lord of Glory, they would have asked Allah that if their words would reach the hearts of the concerned authorities, then in today’s India, daughters like Muskan Khan would not have to face Indian thugs. You may have known the story of Muskan Khan who chanted slogans of Allah Akbar in response to the slogans of J. Shri Ram. Yes! The same Muskan Khan who enters the college wearing hijab tries to harass the Indian beast by chanting the slogan of J. Shri Ram and in response, she becomes an example of bravery by raising the slogan of Allah Akbar.
In fact, Muskan Khan’s reaction shows that now that the lava is ripe, Indian Muslims now want an end to this dark night of oppression. The question is, is this the first time this has happened? Or is it only happening to Muslims? If we look at the situation in India, most of the minorities living in India are being persecuted by the extremist Hindus of India. Today’s India has two faces. A secular India presented to the world through films. While the real face of India is what the minorities living there see and tolerate the oppression of India.
It is a pity that the civilized world ignores the real face of India because the victims of India’s oppression are mostly Muslims. Who is paying homage to the mistakes of their elders while fighting for their identity and rights? There is a need for today’s Muslim world to wake up to the voice of Muskan Khan. Muslims around the world should support this daughter of the nation because it is not a daughter, it is a matter of daughters. In this regard, every class should play its role.
The whole Muslim world should boycott Indian products and send a message to the world that we are one. An emergency meeting of the OIC should be convened to ensure the protection of the rights of Indian Muslims. The Muslim world should strongly protest to India at the governmental level on this issue to ensure the protection of the rights of Muslims living in India and to send a message to the Indian government that Muslims around the world are truly one body.
