Iranian celebrate the Persian New Year, known as Nowruz, by highlighting the traditions of Iran’s Kurdistan province, from Kurdish horses to Kurdish music and dance.
Iranians from other provinces also attended the ceremony, both to learn about Kurdish culture and to demonstrate their own Nowruz traditions.
In the northern hemisphere, Nowruz, which falls on March 21, commemorates the start of spring.
Around 300 million people in Iran, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan participate in the old ritual.
As a result, campaigners from different nations have joined the Nowruz Caravan.
The ritual was held as part of the Nowruz Caravan, which began in Hamadan and ended in Kurdistan, bringing together people from each Iranian region to demonstrate their respective Nowruz traditions.
After stopping in Hamadan and Kermanshah, the Caravan of Nowruz made its final stop in Kurdistan Province, with distinct customs, music, and costumes at each destination. And this is only a small part of Iran’s cultural variety, which shines brightest around Nowruz.
