Reports suggest that Benjamin Netanyahu has denied the idea of ceasefire with Hamas while senior military leaders are advocating for it.

The ceasefire will help in securing the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas, according to the military officials.
It will also help in easing tensions with Hezbollah.
This shift in military perspective reflects frustration over the absence of a clear postwar plan, leading to repeated engagements in already contested areas of Gaza.

Since October, over 4,000 Israeli soldiers have been wounded and 300 killed.
In contrast, Palestinian casualties have soared, with more than 38,000 deaths and over 92,000 injuries reported.
