Saudi Arabia to develop 3000 buildings for quake victims in Turkey and Syria. For earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) of Saudi Arabia will build 3,000 temporary building structures.
Abdullah Al Rabeah, the Supervisor-General of KSRelief, announced that more than 3,000 temporary structures outfitted with essential utilities will be constructed in Turkey and Syria.
According to him, there are hundreds of individuals who need shelter and the need to help the earthquake victims will go on for weeks, if not months. Saudi humanitarian aid has already reached northern Syria, including Aleppo, and Turkey.
After the US lifted sanctions against Syria for a period of six months, two planes delivering aid made their first landing in Aleppo in twelve years.
Thousands of people were killed as a result of the terrible earthquakes that struck Turkey and Syria on February 6.
Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman started a fundraising effort for the victims soon after the earthquake as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to develop 3000 buildings for quake victims in Turkey and Syria.
