Ivan Fedorov, the exiled mayor of Melitopol, a city in the southern Zaporizhzhia region that is under Russian authority, reported an explosion in the city earlier on Wednesday.
An explosive detonated close to the city’s main market, according to RIA, citing Russian-installed police in the area. According to RIA, there were no casualties.
