‘Mirzapur’ actor Brahma Mishra passes away

Brahma Mishra, who played Munna Bhaiya’s friend Lalit in the web series Mirzapur, recently died. According to reports, the actor visited a doctor on November 29 after complaining of chest trouble. After the doctor gave him some gas medicine, he was sent home. He was later discovered deceased at his residence. Brahma had been living alone in his leased apartment for the past four years.

Brahma Mishra lived in Mumbai’s Enlux Nagar Society, and his body was discovered in the bathroom. The cops were only notified when the neighbours complained about a terrible odour. When the cops arrived, they discovered it was locked from the inside. As a result, a locksmith was sent to create a duplicate key. The officers discovered the scent coming from the bathroom after entering the flat. Brahma’s body was discovered semi-decomposed when they opened the restroom door. He was in a semi-naked state.

According to Brahma Mishra’s brother Sandeep’s statement, police have filed an accidental death report. The case is still being investigated. The actor is thought to have died of a heart attack. However, the reason of death is yet unknown.

On Instagram, actor Divyenndu, who played Munna Bhaiya in Mirzapur, expressed his condolences for his demise. Divyenndu posted below a photo of Brahma, “Brahma Mishra, rest in peace. Lalit is no longer with us. Let us all pray for him (sic).”

Brahma Mishra is most recognised for his appearances in Manjhi: The Mountain Man, Dangal, Kesari, and Mirzapur, a web series. May his spirit find eternal rest!
