The UK parliament honors Bushra Ansari for remarkable contributions to the drama industry.

Renowned Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has been awarded with the prestigious Award of Recognition during a ceremony in the UK Parliament for her remarkable contributions to the entertainment industry.

The event, staged by the British Asian Society and Samara Events UK, has been hosted by MP Yasmin Qureshi.

Several prominent figures, including MP Afzal Khan, A. Haq (Chairman of the British Asian Society), Maria Soraya, and Amal Hafeez, graced the ceremony there.

On her Instagram handle, Bushra posted some proud moments of winning awards from the event and expressed gratitude in the description.

The shared picture features the star exuding grace and elegance in dark pink jora with an award in hand; however, she added in the caption, “So happy to receive the honor at British Parliament today! Thank you, God.”

In her speech at the event, Bushra highlighted the noteworthy role of Pakistani dramas in promoting the rich culture, language, and attire of the country.

It is necessary to mention here that, same as Bushra Ansari, popular actors Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa have also been honored for their contributions to the entertainment industry.

Bushra Ansari is a Pakistani actress, comedian, singer, and playwright in Punjabi and Urdu cinema, who started her career as a child performer in the 1960s. Ansari won numerous awards during her career, including the Presidential Pride of Performance Award in 1989 for her contributions to Pakistani television.
