Famous Indian actress and co-host of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Archana Puran Singh, has undergone surgery after sustaining serious injuries while shooting for an upcoming film alongside actor Rajkummar Rao.
The unfortunate incident happened during a routine filming session when the actress tripped and fell, resulting in a shattered wrist and facial injuries.
According to Indian media reports, Singh was qyuckly moved to a hospital in Vile Parle, where doctors performed surgery to stabilise the injury by inserting a wire around her wrist.
In a recent update shared through her popular YouTube channel, Archana revealed the extent of the injury and the surgery she underwent.
The vlog begins with real footage from the incident, showing Archana’s fall early in the morning.
In the video, she can be seen in tears as she collapses off-camera, with crew members swiftly coming to her aid and escorting her to the hospital.
Her husband, actor Parmeet Sethi, was also told about the incident.
Initially hesitant to be filmed, Archana later agreed to share the details of the accident with her followers.
Her husband humorously remarked during the vlog, “She’s doing so much chapad-chapad; it means she’s fine now,” as Archana admired the picturesque view of Mumbai from her hospital room.
During treatment, the actress showed her amazement at the view, jokingly saying that she was tempted to stay in the hospital due to its beauty but was forced to join the work back.
