Shah Rukh’s Mannat trespassed by 2 men; hid inside for hours

Two men arrested last week for infringing inside Bollywood actor Shah Rukh’s Mannat  (bungalow) here hid inside the actor’s makeup room for nearly eight hours before being apprehended, according to police.

Pathan Sahil Salim Khan and Ram Saraf Kushwaha, who claimed to have travelled from Bharuch in Gujarat to meet the ‘Pathaan’ star, were apprehended by security guards and handed over to police. A trespassing and related offences case has been filed against them under the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and the investigation is ongoing.

The accused had hidden inside the makeup room on the third floor of Mannat, the actor’s bungalow, and the actor was taken aback when he saw them.

“Both the accused sneaked into Shah Rukh’s Mannat to meet him and kept waiting for the actor in his make-up room for about eight hours. They had entered at around 3 am and were caught at 10:30 am the next day,” said police.

Colleen D’Souza, Khan’s bungalow manager, told police in her statement that the security guard called her at 11 a.m. on February 2 to inform her that two people had broken into the bungalow.

The trespassers were discovered by Satish, a housekeeping employee, according to the FIR.

“Satish took both of them from the make-up room to the lobby. Shah Rukh Khan was shocked to see strangers there. Mannat’s guards handed over both of them to Bandra Police,” the FIR stated.

The intruders entered Mannat’s premises by climbing its outer wall, according to Mumbai Police.

During the police investigation, the men, aged 20 to 22, claimed that they had travelled from Gujarat to meet the SRK aka ‘Pathaan’ star. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is working diligently on his upcoming films ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki.’
