Chahat Fateh Ali Khan

Chahat Fateh Ali Khan is a new social media sensation, but he should not be confused with legendary Pakistani singers Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

Kashif Rana is a minicab driver from London, and he is a self-proclaimed singer, songwriter, and composer.

In 1966, he was born in Lahore. Although there is little information about his family, available data suggests he is married.

Chahat went viral on social media in Pakistan last month after his anthem for the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL8) went viral.

During the lockdown, Chahat had been posting videos on his social media platforms in addition to doing live Facebook sessions. Because of his popularity, he is now being invited to weddings. “Mast Mast Sharabi,” “Tun Tuna Tun,” and “Pehli Wari Aj Ohno” are some of his well-known songs.

In a recent interview with a local TV channel recently, Chahat said, “I feel very honored. I thank Allah for all this as three of my six songs released in the last six months became hits.”

“And especially, Ye Jo Pyara PSL Hai, has been watched by millions of people on social media so far,” he added.

Another interesting fact about Chahat is that he was once part of a musical band in Sheikhupura, a small city in Punjab. He studied at the Government College and then at Punjab University.

Chahat stated that he is determined to pursue a career as a singer when asked about his future plans. His net worth is said to be between Rs20 and Rs30 million, but there is no proof.

Despite the fact that he is not related to the Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan family in any way, he continues to attract a lot of attention due to his unusual name and his parodies of various songs.
