Releasing date of 'What's Love Got To Do With It?' in Pakistan announced

What’s Love Got To Do With It,? by Jemima Goldsmith is to release on 3rd March in Pakistan. The international movie has received positive reviews in the United Kingdom. Her debut film, which stars Shahzad Latif, Emma Thompson, Lily James, Sajal Aly, and Shabana Azmi, is about the arranged marriage culture in South Asian communities.

Jemima has revealed that the film will be released in Pakistan on March 3. The British author took to Instagram to react to renowned singer Shehzad Roy’s question about the film’s release date in Pakistan. “Congratulations and best wishes. When will this film be available in Pakistan? ”

To this, she replied, “March 3rd in Pakistan! Thanks so much.” The renowned musician then shared, “I’m hearing great reviews about the movie, especially about Sajal Aly’s work in it.”

Jemima, while calling Sajal a star, added, “She’s wonderful in it.”

Author Fatima Bhutto who has already seen the movie, wrote on Twitter, “What’s Love Got to Do With It is a hilarious, moving film that does something that hasn’t been done before: it makes young Muslims feel proud of who they are and what their culture has the capacity to absorb,” Fatima tweeted. “So proud of Jemima and her brilliant film.”
In a previous interview, Sajal revealed why she chose to work in her latest film. “I think the first reason I agreed to join this film was that it beautifully highlights Pakistani culture,” she said. “The country depicted in this project is quite colourful, bright and full of joy, which is a huge contrast from the norm in filmmaking which portrays Pakistanis as terrorists, so thank you Jemima for writing such a brilliant script.”
