In a heartfelt post, actress Madiha Rizvi declared the end of her nine-year marriage to Hasan Noman.
The Parizaad actress announced her split on Instagram on Tuesday, and Rizvi pleaded for discretion at this trying time.
“Hasan and I have amicably finalized our divorce, and we are very appreciative of our time together. For well over a year, we’ve been putting in a lot of effort to see what could have been possible between us, some of it together and some of it apart. And the ultimate decision is that it’s better for us to part ways,” she wrote.
But because we continue to co-parent our two amazingly wonderful girls, we are and always will be a family. We therefore request that, during this trying time, their and our personal space and privacy be respected.
“We have always conducted our relationship in private, and we hope to be able to do so as we consciously separate and co-parent,” Rizvi said.
