Bollywood’s dashing superstar Salman Khan gave an interesting answer to the question of taking Rs 10 billion as compensation for hosting ‘Bigg Boss’.
The new season of the TV reality show will once again be hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan. There were numerous rumors about Salman Khan’s pay for the show, and he has now responded to them in his trademark charming manner.
Journalists questioned Salman Khan about whether he received 10 billion rupees in compensation for hosting “Bigg Boss 16” during the show’s opening ceremony.
Salman Khan smilingly replied that if he had received 10 billion rupees for the show, believe me, I would not have done any work for the rest of my life.
Salman Khan showed his famous sense of humor and said that whatever I earn, I also have expenses like lawyers’ fees and income tax notices. Whatever I earn comes to me and is spent.
Salman Khan has been hosting the reality TV show for the past 12 years and rumors of Salman Khan charging huge fees for the show are often doing the rounds.
Bigg Boss is an Indian reality show franchise based on the Dutch reality show Big Brother. It is produced by Endemol Shine India through Viacom18 and Disney Star. Subsequently, the various versions of the show are made internationally available through OTT platforms Voot and Disney+ Hotstar.
