Actors Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover celebrated the time before the arrival of their first child with a gorgeous baby shower. Bipasha shared a series of photos and videos from the event, which took place in Mumbai on Friday.
On Saturday, the mom-to-be showed more photos from her baby shower party, from pink and purple balloon decorations to a monkey-themed cake. Guests included Neelam Kothari, Deane Pandey, Sophie Choudry, Anusha Dandekar, Ramesh Taurani, and Arti Singh, along with Bipasha and Karan’s family. In the latest video she shared from her baby shower, Bipasha Basu, who wore a pink dress to the celebration, was seen cheery, dancing, and laughing with her loved ones. She and Karan were also seen sharing a kiss and posing with a pastel-colored cake decorated with pink and purple butterflies and flowers, along with the message “A monkey is coming,”
Bipasha wrote in her Instagram caption: “There is no fun without girls !!!” She added the hashtags “monkey coming” and “mom-to-be”. In the clip, Bipasha also posed with her mother, Mamta Basu, and the couple danced with Neelam and other guests. In another video she shared on Saturday, Bipasha and Karan were seen together in a variety of poses, from a grand entrance to the party venue to posing for photos in front of a wall of pink and purple balloons. She captioned their video: “Then there were three”.
Bipasha added a heart emoji and the hashtags “little monkey coming”, “monkey love” and “future parents” to her caption. In another Instagram post, Bipasha shared the photos of the baby shower, writing: “… It will be an evening remembered by all”. The actor also shared a video consisting of his solo photos during the baby shower, writing in the caption “Mom-to-be vibes.”
