Ranbir Kapoor talks about his dependency on Alia Bhatt
Favorite Bollywood couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been the part of headlines ever since their dating reports were revealed. The two got married on April 14 this year in an intimate marriage after nearly 5 years of dating. Ranbir and Alia reportedly met on the sets of the movie Brahmastra and Cupid beat them up.
The two have been busy promoting Brahmastra for the past few weeks. Judging by the box office numbers, the fantasy adventure film works wonders at the box office. In the film, Alia’s character Isha says Ranbir’s character Shiva is incomplete without her. Now, in a recent interview, they were asked if it was the same in real life.
Speaking to Indian Media, Ranbir Kapoor said he was quite dependent on Alia for his day to day work. Kapoor said: “I pride myself on being very independent and aloof, but actually I’m very dependent on her. I don’t go to the bathroom or eat unless I know where Alia is. It is very important for me to have her by my side. It doesn’t matter if we don’t do anything romantic or even talk, just make her sit next to me.”
Alia also admitted that it is true that “Ranbir can’t do anything without her”. “If I’m not there, Ranbir leaves everything for the last minute,” she said. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are currently expecting their first child together. In June, the Heart of Stone actress made the announcement by sharing a photo of herself during her ultrasound appointment.

After the great success of Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, the two will resume their roles in the second part. Although no release date has yet been announced, the film is expected to be released in 2025.
