Brahmastra sets Rs.225 crore opening worldwide
The film collected around 70 crores worldwide making it one of the top opening Bollywood films of 2022 at the box office on the opening day.
India’s one of the most gigantic, budgeted films titled Brahmastra released on Friday, Sep 9th. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film has been received extraordinarily by the cinema buffs.
Brahmastra has even entered the club of Bollywood’s 5 films with the biggest openings ever in the history of the industry itself.
The film’s budged was around 400 crores & seeing the progress & impeccable reaction from the audiences, it’s safe to say that the film will cross the set budgeted figure soon.
The first week collection, however, has been whopping 225 crores at the box office.

However, the first day collection of Brahmastra was 31.5 crores worldwide in India, followed by 37.5 Crores on the 2nd day & 39.5 crores on third day of its release. The film collected 16 crores alone from the south Indian dubbed version. Ranbir Kapoor sees the biggest opening of his career. It has even surpassed his last big hit titled Sanju.
Right after the release of the film, fans along with critics & fellows from industry fraternity had shared exceptionally good reviews. The movie received a bit of criticism on weak writing but the VFX, acting, magnanimous sets & impeccable direction have everyone’s jaw dropped.
One of the interesting things about the film shoot is that the entire procedure of the film took the director, Ayan Mukerji around 12 years. From the very first idea conceiving to taking the film to grandeur that it stands at, the film sure is a masterpiece.
Apart from that, the film & the cast of Brahmastra had also been surrounded by many controversies during the entire process of filmmaking & even promotions.
The film casts Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva, Alia Bhatt as Isha, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan along with star-studded cameos of the mega start Shah Rukh Khan, South star Nagarjuna & the gorgeous Deepika Padukone.
