“Koffee With Karan” all set for season 8
Season 7 of Koffee With Karan is not over yet, but the creators of the series have already announced their release of next season.
In a big surprise for fans of the series, streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar announced on Saturday that the popular cat show has been renewed for another season.
“We couldn’t have asked for a lower curtain on our upcoming lineup on a globally coveted platform like D23 Expo 2022, where we’ll have the opportunity to preview upcoming Showtime, Mahabharata and Koffee shows with Karan Season 8”, Hindustan Times quoted Disney+ Hotstar Content Manager Gaurav Banerjee.
Commenting on the show’s return, Karan said, “I’m thrilled to partner with Disney+ Hotstar on our new collaboration, announced at the prestigious D23 Expo, and to bring another exciting season of my beloved show. Koffee With Karan.”

Koffee With Karan is one of the most talked about reality shows. Over the years it has seen performances from almost every major Bollywood star, from Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor to Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor Alia baht. Season 7 was criticized for focusing too much on the actors’ personal lives.
In a recent interview with The Hindu, Karan addressed the flak the show gets, saying, “So I don’t know how much hate and trolling has to do with the show; is really more about the fact that a show like this exists and has that kind of dedication. A lot of hate is funny sometimes because I wonder why they curse it so much but also watch it?”
