Kartik Aaryan is quickly carving out a place for himself in Bollywood’s precarious seas. The actor, who rose to fame for his part in the 2018 comedy Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, just revealed on Instagram that he will be appearing in the third episode of the well-known romance series Aashiqui.

Although the earlier two films in the series were commercial successes, the producers of Aashiqui 3 are certain that Aaryan will meet the bar. Producer Mukesh Bhatt of Vishesh Films recalled, “Gulshanji [late producer and music mogul Gulshan Kumar] and I were quite nervous on the evening of August 16, 1990, a day before the release of Aashiqui. The next day records were broken and history was made. I can tell everyone that Aashiqui 3 will celebrate love like never before thanks to Bhushan, Pritam, Anurag, and the national heartthrob Kartik.
The goal is to continue the legacy in the best way possible, according to renowned director Basu. “Aashiqui and Aashiqui 2 were emotions for the fans that have remained in hearts to this day,” he said.
