The Education Directorate’s Facebook page in Egypt’s Beheira governorate was recently breached by hackers, who apparently had an odd request. They desired that Mia Khalifa serve as the nation’s education advisor. The hackers said, “We demand Minister of Education Dr. Reda Hegazy appoint Dr. Mia Khalifa as an advisor for educational development.”

The text also featured a picture of Mia Khalifa and addressed her as “Dr.” The Education Directorate later removed the strange request. The Education Directorate announced in a notice that “legal action has been taken in this regard after an unknown entity hacked the directorate’s media page. The responsible security authorities have been notified.”
The Beheira Education Directorate’s media division issued an apology for the incident and cautioned its followers against adding “any accounts imitating the names of educational leaders.” Ironically, according to media accounts, the Arabic term for “apology” was spelled incorrectly in the post. The post was later amended.
Mia Khalifa, a former pornographic star, holds a history undergraduate degree from the University of Texas, although it is unknown if she also holds a PhD.

Julia Elbaba, an American tennis player, responded to the photo by saying “Sunkissed” and a series of fire emojis. Christine Quinn, a star of a reality show, said she was “living the life.” Jhay Cortez’s omission from the pictures raised some concerns for certain individuals.
