LONDON – British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie welcomed a healthy baby girl into the world on Thursday morning at a London hospital, according to a spokeswoman for the couple.
“Both mother and daughter are doing very well. The couple would like to thank the brilliant NHS maternity team for all their care and support,” she said in a statement.
The baby will be the couple’s second child together, following the birth of their son Wilfred in April 2020. They tied the knot in May of this year.
The prime leader has been married twice and will not reveal the number of children he has fathered. With his second wife, lawyer Marina Wheeler, he had four children.
