Kunal spoke to The Times of India about the photo after he had shared it on social media and received positive feedback. In response to a question about whether or not Ranveer had encouraged him to publish the photo, the actor answered, “Yes.” “A person needs to take the lead, right? Ranveer, on the other hand, did an excellent job at it. But, of course, we’re all a little raunchy. Ranveer didn’t have to do it, but he chose to do it anyhow. People don’t understand. There is no nuance to the motivation that I drew from him. Though you look closely at the photo, it will appear as if I am wearing micro or small shorts.”
