According to a Live Law article, a petition asking for a FIR against actor Kareena Kapoor was submitted on August 3 to the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Christopher Anthony, a practising attorney, filed the petition on the grounds that the actor had allegedly offended Christians by using the word “Bible” in her book.

In addition to the report, the petition was presented before the bench of Justice Dinesh Kumar Paliwal, where it was ordered that the petitioner name the State as a party and that the matter be set for hearing in six weeks.
Anthony argued in his plea that Kapoor had formed the bad habit of disparaging and insulting the Christian Community by engaging in one or more improper behaviours.
The petitioner used the Bollywood song “Mera naam Mary hai, Mary sau takka teri hai” from the movie Brothers to bolster his claims, claiming that the “cheap item song” contained the name of Mary, the mother of Lord Jesus, who is revered and revered in the Christian community.
Even last month, in July, the religious community filed a request for a FIR against the actor.
On the professional front, Laal Singh Chaddha, the Hindi version of Tom Hanks’ cult classic Forrest Gump, starring Kareena and Aamir Khan, will debut on August 11.
