Sara Ali Khan’s debut film, Kedarnath, was released three years ago, and the actor commemorated the anniversary with a poignant letter on social media. Sara posted a video montage of scenes from the film, writing that she misses Sushant Singh Rajput’s character ‘Mansoor.’
Sara Ali Khan wrote in the caption, “3 years ago my biggest dream came true. I became an actor, and my first, and most special film released. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to explain how much Kedarnath means to me- the place, the film, the memories, all of it. But today I’m really missing my Mansoor. It’s only because of Sushant’s unwavering support, selfless help, constant guidance and compassionate advice that Mukku was able to reach your hearts.”
“From Kedarnath to Andromeda,” she added. Sushant, I will always miss you. Thank you @gattukapoor for entrusting me with your vision, @ronnie.screwvala @rsvpmovies for believing in me, and @kanika.d for creating a character and world of which I will be always grateful #jaibholenath #harharmahadev #kedarnath.”
Sara also posted photos from Kedarnath with her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput, with the song ‘Qaafirana’ from the film playing in the background.
Abhishek Kapoor directed Kedarnath, which he co-wrote with Kanika Dhillon. RSVP Films’ Ronnie Screwvala produced the film, which was released on December 7, 2018.
Sara Ali Khan plays the character ‘Rinku’ in Aanand L Rai’s upcoming film Atrangi Re. On December 24, the film, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Dhanush, will be released on Disney+ Hotstar.
