Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz will arrive in Islamabad on Wednesday (today) to attend a meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC) at the prime minister’s office.
It is worth noting that the Punjab chief minister had previously postponed the cabinet meeting scheduled for Tuesday (yesterday).
The meeting had been postponed due to the Punjab chief minister’s political commitments.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz met former President and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday at Bilawal House in Lahore (yesterday).
Both leaders had discussed the country’s current political situation.
