LAHORE: PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that the country’s courts had to be opened at 12 a.m. because the former prime minister Imran’s “attack” on the Constitution.
Maryam Sharif told the PTI chairman in Lahore that her father, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, would retire from politics.
“Imran Khan’s name should be changed to the king of liars because he has never told the truth,” Maryam said. She went on to say that since he lost power, the former prime minister has been “crying.”
“When it was time to play the final ball, he bolted from the ground. He didn’t leave the pavilion when it was time for the last over,” Maryam told her party workers.
According to the PML-N leader, the former prime minister has an “innocent face” and wonders why the courts were opened at 12 a.m.
“The courts opened at 12 a.m. because you committed a suicide attack on the Constitution,” the PML-N leader said.
She went on to say that the PTI chairman believed that if he “trampled the court orders,” the court would “keep looking” at him.
She claimed that PTI lawmakers in the National and Punjab Assembly behaved like “thugs.”
“Do they act the same way with their parents?” Maryam enquired.
President Arif Alvi, Punjab Governor Omar Sarfaraz Cheemz, former Speaker Asad Qaiser, and ex-deputy speaker Qasim Suri, she claimed, were acting like the PTI chairman’s “employees.”

The PML-N leader claimed that his employees had committed treason against the Constitution. She went on to say that her cousin Hamza Shehbaz would be sworn in as Punjab’s chief minister.
“When you failed, you made up a fake letter,” Maryam said as she chastised Imran Khan.
She went on to say that Imran Khan received a “suitable response” from the state and the National Security Committee in response to the letter.
“It’s a good thing if institutions uphold the Constitution. “What makes Imran Khan cry?” Maryam enquired. She claimed that the PTI chairman was “crying” because he is prone to cheating on exams.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister-elect Hamza Shehbaz accused Imran Khan of making false promises and promised PML-N workers that he would not be allowed to hide behind “fake tears.”
“Maryam Nawaz, Hanif Abbasi, Rana Iqbal, and I were all incarcerated.” In four years, they couldn’t prove a single iota of corruption,” Hamza said.
He also stated that the PTI chairman will not be allowed to flee.
