Former FIA DG Bashir Memon acquitted in three cases

Bashir Memon, the former director-general of Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), was acquitted Tuesday in three cases of human trafficking and money laundering.

The FIA does not want Bashir Memon.” He is not a suspect in all three cases, according to the FIA investigation officer in court.

The investigation officer’s statement was recorded by the court.

Two of Bashir Memon’s legal representatives, Mian Ali Ashfaq and Rana Maroof, withdrew their court petitions.

“The FIA was the target of our first petition. Mian Ali Ashfaq said, “This is the second petition we have failed in the high court.

When it came time for an extension of his interim bail, Bashir Memon also showed up in court.

The following day, in an interview with the media, he stated that he had full faith in the courts from the start.

Abbasi was accused of politicizing the FIA, and institutions suffer when politicized, he said.
