The Islamabad authorities have announced a spring break for all educational institutions in the federal capital, according to an official notification.
Schools and colleges under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), including urban and rural areas, will observe the break from March 24 to March 27, 2026.

All institutions under the FDE will remain closed during the six-day spring break.

Schools will reopen on March 30, 2026 (Monday), with attendance mandatory for all teaching staff to compile and announce in-house annual examination results.

The admission process will continue without interruption during the break, as directed by the FDE.
The notification was issued by the Academics Wing of the Federal Directorate of Education with approval from the FDE Director General, ensuring a smooth transition back to academic activities after the break.
