Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan, has said that he hopes that Pakistan and Afghanistan have a good relationship under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Tolo News said, citing a BBC report.
Karzai, who ruled Afghanistan from 2001 to 2014, told the BBC that these are the things he thinks.
Karzai told the magazine that he had a good relationship with former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. According to Karzai, Sharif was interested in having a good relationship with Afghanistan.
“Karzai hoped that his brother, Shahbaz Sharif, would go in the same direction as his brother, Nawaz.
Mr. Sharif said that the Afghan people will also be pleased with him.
He said that the airstrikes in Kunar and Khos provinces, which he said were done by Pakistani forces, were a clear breach of Afghan sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He said that the Afghan people don’t like when Afghan women and children are killed.
Karzai also said that girls who have finished sixth grade should be able to go back to school.
He said that the recent attack on a school in western Kabul was an “attack on Afghanistan’s efforts to educate its young, its peace, and its moves toward stability and progress.” This is what he meant.”
Then, Karzai said that Ukraine should be “smart” enough not to get caught up in the “big games” of the world’s big powers.
