Political circles in southern Punjab have pinned their hopes on Hamza Shehbaz for creating a new province to address the long-standing issue.
Every party promised a separate province, according to Abdul Qayyum Shaheen, but the promises have yet to be fulfilled.
He claimed that the people of the south demand a separate province from each government and that the PML-N has once again been given the opportunity to do so.
He added that if the PML-N makes South Punjab a province, it will become the region’s favorite party.
Meanwhile, according to 24NewsHD TV Channel, PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz offered fateha while visiting the graves of his grandfather and others on Sunday.
Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz also met PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, who congratulated him on his appointment.
