Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, the Prime Minister of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, is being sacrificed by the party in order to stop the PDM’s possible move to no-trust the Azad Jammu and Kashmir government.
Imran Khan, the former prime minister and head of the PTI, approved a vote of no confidence against his party’s AJK premiere on Wednesday. He also suggested a name for the new chief executive of the valley, which would be Imran Khan.
Asad Umar, the secretary-general of the PTI, wrote a letter to the speaker of the AJK Assembly in this case. According to the letter, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas would be the leader of the PTI if the party won. The meeting of the AJK assembly would be held on April 15.
He has told all the party’s MLAs to do this, and he wants them to.
It was the PDM’s goal to bring a no-confidence motion in the AJK assembly with help from members of the ruling party, the PTI, who were not happy with the PDM.
Sardar Tanveer Ilyas was the best candidate for prime minister after the general elections in AJK in July 2021, when PTI was the largest party. Imran Khan chose Qayyum Niazi to be the AJK’s prime minister.
PTI MLAs thought that if Imran Khan had made the right choice, the party wouldn’t have to see this day.
Abdul Qayyum Niazi is the leader of Pakistan’s PPP AJK. On Tuesday, the PPP AJK said that they and the PML-N would put forward their own no-confidence motion against him.
Shaukat Javed Mir, the AJI Central Deputy Information Secretary for the PPP, said that the PTI had said that it didn’t believe in its own government, too. “We are going to get rid of this government that was put in place by rigging,” he said.
It was in August of 2021 that Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi was sworn in as the 13th prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
