PTI lawyers tendered their resignations from government positions on Sunday following the removal of their prime minister.
Malik Asif Ahmed Nissona, the Deputy Attorney General who works in the Lahore High Court, has tendered his resignation to Pakistan’s President.
Malik Asif Ahmed Nissona has served as Deputy Attorney General since 2018.
Nasr Ahmad, who was serving as Additional Attorney General in the Lahore High Court, will be relieved of his duties, according to sources.
Umbereen Moin, the PTI’s Deputy Attorney General, will be relieved of her duties, as will Tariq Shafiq Bhandara and Tahir Muhammad Khokhar.
Muhammad Khalid Awan, Muhammad Usman Arif, Arshad Ali Rashid Warraich, and other PTI-affiliated law officers will be relieved of their posts.
Advocate General Ahmed Owais and other law officers will be removed following the change in the Punjab government.
Recommendation of a former Federal Minister Malik Abdul Aziz Awan, the Additional Advocate General, is also seeking a new recommendation.
Additionally, PTI-affiliated Advocate Generals Anees Hashmi and Umair Niazi will be dismissed.
On behalf of the federation, the federation has prepared the resignations of other law officers at the Lahore High Court.
Law enforcement officials stated that if they do not resign, the new government will terminate their employment.
